How much water for emergencies
The planning line is one gallon of water per person per day. We treat three days as the window these bags claim. One person needs 3 gallons, about 11.4 liters. Scale that by headcount.

Pouch water in these kits is usually under a gallon for the whole bag. A Sawyer filter or purification tablets are not stored water. They only count after you find a source.
