Baseline math
Arithmetic from the maker's published counts and FEMA's 1 gallon per person per day water line. Not a lab test. Calories sit against a sitewide 2,000 kcal per person per day planning figure.
- Water vs FEMA
- Need 3 gal (11.4 L) for 1 person × 3 days. Maker water volume: unpublished on the pages we used. Uncharted ships a 48 oz stainless bottle you fill yourself, plus five Aquatabs. No stored pouches on the listing we used.
- Calories vs 2,000 kcal/day
- Need 6,000 kcal for 1 person × 3 days. Maker calorie total: unpublished on the pages we used.
- $ / person / day
- $76.33 at the checked price.
Uncharted Supply Co. builds the Seventy2 Core around color-coded pockets inside a 600D tarpaulin bag. First-responder shops talk that way because wet hands and low light turn a junk-drawer backpack into a delay. This page tracks ASIN B0G2T976TT. The two-person Pro is a separate listing.
Water treatment is five Aquatabs and a 48 oz stainless bottle you fill yourself. The maker leaves room for a lighter, matches, a dedicated flashlight, and a filter. A ferro rod lives on the prospector knife, and the crank radio already has a light.
Uncharted lists a survival food bar and does not print a calorie total on the pages we used. Baseline math leaves calories unpublished for that reason.
What Uncharted publishes
- Water-resistant 600D tarpaulin pack with a structured insert and printed guidance
- Survival food bar (calorie count unpublished)
- 48 oz stainless bottle and five Aquatabs
- First-aid core kit, goggles, air mask, sunscreen, antibacterial wipes
- Survival tent, mylar blanket, beanie, waterproof gloves, mini hand warmers
- Prospector knife with ferro rod, multitool, shovel/axe, 100 ft paracord, duct tape
- Hand-crank radio and two chem lights
- About 12.3 lb
Packed weight is about 12.3 lb for one adult, so a household of two buys another bag or steps up to a family kit. The pack is sewn tarpaulin, which Uncharted calls water-resistant.
Amazon shows 4.8 stars from 7 reviews. Seven is a thin count. We still print it.
